In a 50-minute session one on one within a 10-mile radius of Hastings-on-Hudson, NY 10706, I'll provide an overview of the exam essay and offer recommendations on how to write a successful response. The lesson, geared toward each student's specific knowledge and skill level, will be determined in the first minutes of the meeting. Following our discussion, the student will write a practice essay—40 minutes for the ACT, 50 for the SAT (longer for each if allowed extended time). After receiving a scanned version of the handwritten essay by text or email, I'll return it by the same method in a week or less with 30 minutes of written feedback.
